Representatives
Every Bethany Village independent living neighborhood is represented on the council. Click below to meet the current representatives.
Committees
Chairpersons and members of Committees shall be Residents of Bethany Village, but such appointments need not be restricted to members of the Council. Each Committee shall have at least one member from each of our four residential areas: East Cottages, East Apartments, West Apartments, and West Cottages.
Officers
The Officers of the Council shall be a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, an Assistant Secretary, a Treasurer, and an Assistant Treasurer elected by the Council from its membership.
Who We Are
The Council shall consist of Residents of Bethany Village. Representation on Council is based on the number of living units – 25 units = 1 voice vote on Council.
- One (1) representative elected by the Residents of Bethany Center
- Four (4) representatives elected by the Residents of Bethany Court
- Four (4) representatives elected by the Residents of the East Cottages
- Six (6) representatives elected by the Residents of Bethany West Apartments
- Two (2) representatives elected by the Residents of the West Cottages and Estates
We conduct fundraising efforts and provide volunteer assistance for the benefit of the residents of Bethany Village (BV), a continuing care retirement community located in Pennsylvania, enhance the services provided to BV residents, and support BV’s not-for-profit, charitable mission.
We consider problems affecting the Residents and report them, with or without recommendation, to the Administration.
